DSTech-IT runs this website itself, on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany.
It is delivered through a delivery network of our own, covered in the next section.
The connection is encrypted end to end.
No further services are embedded.
Our server fetches nothing from third parties for this site either.
Hosting and delivery
DSTech-IT runs the server, the content delivery network (CDN) and the mail server itself, on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany.
Address: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.
The CDN sits between your browser and the server. It speeds up requests and keeps attacks away from the server.
Every request to this site passes through it, including sending the contact form.
Fixed parts such as fonts and images are cached by the CDN. Only page content is cached, nothing about you.
No data from this website is transferred to countries outside the EU.
Hetzner provides the servers and processes the data of this website solely on our behalf. A processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
The same data centres carry the CPIM hosted service.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in fast and secure operation, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Access logs
Every request leaves one line in the logs of CDN and server.
The purpose is running the site securely, above all spotting and fending off attacks.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The logs stay with DSTech-IT in Germany.
Logs of CDN and server are deleted after 30 days at the latest. That is how long it takes to spot attacks spread over several days.
The line holds:
- the IP address of the requesting connection
- the time of the request
- the address that was requested
- the status code of the answer and the number of bytes sent
- the referring address, where the browser sends one
- the identifier of browser and operating system
Contact form
The form sends an e-mail to DSTech-IT.
The purpose is dealing with your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Against spam the server checks a hidden field, the time taken before sending, and the number of requests per IP address within one hour. That count lives in memory and ends with the next restart.
Retention: until the enquiry is settled. The note below carries the detail.
Fields without a star are optional. The form asks for:
- name and organisation
- e-mail address
- phone number, optional
- number of charge points, optional
- the message itself
- confirmation that you have read this notice
Fonts, images and video
Font files sit on our own server, as do screenshots, drawings and the video.
They are delivered through our own CDN.
Your IP address therefore reaches no further provider.
Your rights
A message to info@dstech-it.de is enough to exercise any of them.
The competent supervisory authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
